1、 Classification according to different processing methods

1. Woven fabric: a fabric made of two systems of yarns arranged vertically, i.e. crosswise lengthwise, interweaved on a loom according to certain rules. There are denim, brocade, bassinet, linen so on. There are many classification methods for woven fabrics.

(1) According to the fiber types of woven fabric, it can be divided into pure textile, blended fabric interwoven fabric.

Pure textile fabric refers to the fabric made of pure yarn of the same kind of fiber with warp weft. The performance of this kind of fabric mainly embodies the characteristics of fiber. For example, the warp weft yarns of pure cotton fabric are all cotton yarn (thread), such as pure cotton khaki 21 × 21 / 108 × 58, the warp weft yarns of viscose fiber fabric are all viscose fiber yarn.

Blended fabric refers to the fabric made of two more different kinds of fiber blended yarn, such as cotton linen blended yarn, polyester cotton blended yarn, wool polyester, etc., the biggest feature of which is to mix the fibers together in the spinning process (generally in the "opening cleaning process" before spinning).

Interwoven fabric refers to the fabric woven by different fibers filaments in the warp weft direction, such as nylon filament in the warp direction, silk wool interwoven by viscose in the weft direction, etc.

(2) According to the fiber length fineness of the woven fabric, it can be divided into cotton type fabric, medium length fabric, wool type fabric filament type fabric.

Cotton type fabric - the length of cotton fiber is about 30mm. The yarn made of this length of fiber is cotton type yarn (in order to blend with cotton fiber, chemical fiber should be cut into this length - cotton type chemical fiber). The fabric made of this yarn is cotton type fabric.

Wool type fabric - the length of wool is about 75mm (the difference between different varieties is large). The yarn composed of fibers in this length is wool type yarn (in order to blend with wool fiber, chemical fiber should be cut into this length - wool type chemical fiber). The fabric composed of this yarn is wool type fabric.

Medium length fabric - the fiber between the length of cotton type wool type is called medium length fiber. The yarn is called medium length fiber yarn. The fabric made of this kind of yarn is medium length fabric.

Filament fabric - a fabric made of filament, such as rayon polyester.

(3) According to the structure of the woven fabric, it can be divided into plain, twill, satin other structures. The concept of fabric weave has been mentioned before, will be discussed here.

(4) According to the use of the woven fabric, it can be divided into clothing, home textile, industrial cloth, etc.

2. Knitted fabric: the fabric formed by knitting yarn into a circle, which is divided into weft warp knitting.

(1) Weft knitted fabric is made by feeding the weft weft to the working needle of the knitting machine so that the yarn can be bent into a circle in sequence put into each other.

(2) Warp knitted fabric is made of one several groups of yarns arranged in parallel on all the working needles of the warp feeding knitting machine at the same time. Knitted fabrics are mainly divided into two categories: weft knitted fabrics warp knitted fabrics. Weft knitted fabric is used in sweaters socks. Warp knitted fabric is often used as underwear fabric. Hand knitting is also the method of weft knitting. All the coils in a row are made of one yarn. Weft knitted fabric can be finished on a flat round machine. Warp knitting is a longitudinal movement of a group of warp yarns in warp up direction, which forms a new knitting coil with the movement of knitting needle. In warp knitted fabric, yarn is weaved longitudinally, just like the warp of woven fabric, which is supplied by the warp shaft. There are a large number of parallel arranged yarns on the warp shaft, similar to the warp shaft in woven fabric. The direction of yarn in warp knitted fabric is meridional. Form a vertical coil in one horizontal column, then move diagonally to another vertical column, form another coil in the next horizontal column. In the fabric, the yarn is zigzag one side to the other along the length direction. Each coil in a row is made of different yarns. Weft knitted fabrics account for the largest proportion of knitwear. 2、 Classification of yarn materials by fabric composition

1. Pure Textile: the raw materials of the fabric are all the same fiber, including cotton fabric, wool fabric, silk fabric, polyester fabric, etc.

2. Blended fabric: it is made of two more different kinds of fibers blended into yarn, including polyester viscose, polyester nitrile, polyester cotton other blended fabrics.
