Cloud-pattern brocade

Brocade refers to a kind of jacquard silk crafts produced in Nanjing, which is characterized by fine weaving, exquisite design gorgeous brocade patterns. It integrates the great achievements of the silk weaving technology of the past dynasties the valuable experience of other kinds of silk weaving technology, reaching the peak of the silk weaving technology. Brocade is mainly characterized by different colors of flowers. different perspectives, the colors of flowers on embroidery are different. The history of brocade can be traced back to the Song Dynasty. Because of its bright color cloud like appearance, brocade got its name. It was popular in the Ming Qing Dynasties. The three dynasties of yuan, Ming Qing were all royal royal tributes. It was called the last milestone in the history of ancient Chinese brocade technology. In 2006, brocade was listed in the first batch of intangible cultural heritage list of China, in September 2009, it was selected into the UN list of representative works of intangible cultural heritage of mankind. The heritage unit is Nanjing brocade Research Institute.

Shu brocade

Sichuan brocade originally refers to the colorful brocade produced in Sichuan, later became the general name of brocade produced in places with similar weaving methods. Shu Brocade is usually made of dyed mature silk thread, warp thread flower. It is made by the combination of geometric pattern organization decorative pattern. Shu brocade patterns are widely used, such as myths legends, historical stories, auspicious inscriptions, landscape figures, flowers, birds, animals, etc. Chengdu "Jinguan city" was named in Qin Han Dynasties. Almost all the brocade Qin Han Dynasties to Sui Tang Dynasties was Shu brocade. It is one of the main trading products of the Silk Road, also the predecessor of the national treasure level traditional handicraft of Japan, Kyoto Xidan weaving. In 2006, Shu brocade weaving technology was approved by the State Council to be included in the first batch of intangible cultural heritage list. Song brocade

Song brocade originated at the end of Song Dynasty, mainly produced in Suzhou. The texture of the pattern is firm soft. The pattern is symmetrical, rigorous changeable, rich smooth. The color is bright without fire, complex without disorder. The main feature of the production process is the simultaneous development of warp weft. Song brocade is very practical, soft strong in texture, exquisite in design, wear-resistant can be washed repeatedly, with a wide range of applications. Song brocade was developed on the basis of Shu Brocade in Tang Dynasty. In 2006, it was listed in the first batch of intangible cultural heritage list. The heritage unit is Suzhou Silk Museum.
